Title: HOW TO:  Change Pocket PC Database Location Sync Setting

Background:
As a default, the CARCare PPC Sync Utility will sync with the CARCare for Windows database located at C:\Users\Public\CARCare\CARCare.db.  This is the recommended setting.  If your database and/or filename is different from the default value, you will need to manually change a setting to point to your CARCare for Windows database.
 
Changing Your Database Location for PPC Sync:
To make this change, follow the steps below.

1. Open CARCare for Windows

2. Note the database path in the main window titlebar

3. Click the PPC Sync Utility toolbar button

4. Click the Settings button to open the Settings dialog

5. Click the Browse button for the Desktop Edition Database Location setting

6. Select your actual database location and click Open

7. Click OK on the Settings dialog

 
When you re-run the sync process, the Sync Utility will synchronize your data using your new database location setting.
