Update Instructions  

Updating CARCare
If you have a prior version of CARCare already installed,
follow these steps.

  • Check Your Current Version
    Start CARCare and use the Help | About... menu option to view your current version.
      

  • If Your Current Version is Prior to 1.4.056
    Install 1.4.056, start CARCare to run a Database Repair, and then Close.
    Install 2.0.079, start CARCare to run a Database Repair, and then Close.
    Install and start the Latest Version.
    You're done!  Close this page.
     

  • If Your Current Version is from 1.4.056 to 2.0.078
    Install 2.0.079, start CARCare to run a Database Repair, and then Close.
    Install and Start the Latest Version.
    You're done!  Close this page.
       

  • If Your Current Version is 2.0.079 or Later
    You're ready to go.
    Install and start the Latest Version.
    Close this page.
